Yes, I do mean a full year away.

This is a preemptive strike for setting a date. For 2008 there will be
no vote, instead I am declaring right now that the date will be August
9, 2008. Why? Cuz it's my birthday.

Hey, at least with this much lead time the camping folk will have
enough lead time to reserve the best spots.
