If you haven't been to a con yet, you might want to consider going to
Midwest Furfest as your first - it's right here, there's no travel
except local, you can have free sleeping space if you offer to help
as a gopher, and if you put in 10 hours as a gopher you get a free
membership the next year.

Plus, there might even be more fursuits HERE, anthrocon has more
attendees but MFF is more fursuit friendly, better program, etc.
