[LAFF] acceptance and friendship

That's true.  But I really don't such 'putting down' as a majority, or 
even a large minority, of traffic here.  There is some of it, yes.  It's 
either out of ignorance, which can be cured, or malice, which can be 
ignored as the useless drivel it is.  It really seems to me like most 
people here on the LAFF email list are pretty accepting and tolerant of 
each other.  The exceptions to that rule, as they are in any forum, tend 
to be noticed more just because they are exceptions.

Still, if you're not getting as much from any mailing list as your time 
invested into it is worth, I can't think of a better reason to leave.  
Life isn't worth the stress.  As you noted, many of us know how to get 
to you.
