There's also the argument that those same parents might be wary of the
fursuiters because they are not familiar characters. One has to keep
that in mind, too. Even though furry has gotten some great recent
press, people are still stupid enough to believe the tabloids and
sensationalist shows on TV, so we still have a lot of folks out there
who think of us as the yiff-tastic creatures we've gained the
reputation for.

This is probably one outing you don't want to have fursuits at..
Hrm... Tails and ears might be okay for it, though... With the whole
TMNT mutant aspect, that could work.

However, there's also going to be a high number of kids there with their parents who would love us despite the rhyme or reason for it.  So there's weight to both sides.  So I'm just looking for a lot of opinions so I can make a decision whether to "fur" up this event.  I'm holding the outing regardless.
