[LAFF] Chicago Photography Student Seeks Furry Models

I don't have a fursuit, therefore I'm not responding to this to state any interest I may have in it, but rather, I am responding with a cautionary note. Given the fact that some outside of the furry fandom don't exactly look too highly upon furries, it may not be the wisest thing to invite someone specifically looking for furries to your residence to shoot a photo of you in costume. If this person is from a secret group of furry haters, this could just be a method of acquiring addresses of furries, with less than desireable intentions.

On the other end of the spectrum, of course, this would be a great chance to express your furriness in a way that is fun for you, the photographer, and portrays furries in a good light. Which, of course, is one small step that could improve the furry reputation, at least a little bit.

With those two spectrums in mind, don't make this decision lightly. Whatever you do, have fun guys! Perhaps the LAFF site could get copies of the pics put up, with permission from the subjects of course.

Hello,

I've been trying very hard to find a local furry
group. I'm searching for people who would be willing
to pose for portraits while in their suits. This is a
personal photo project and is in no way intended for
profit or display. I also have no intention of
ridiculing or exploiting the people in the pictures.
The portraits would be shot in the residence of the
subject. Couples are prefered. I understand that most
would be hesitant of posing for a photo or most would
assume that I have some kind of alterior motive for
the photos. I can assure that I'm merely a student at
Columbia College and I'd like to explore an alternate
form of portraiture. If you can help me out in any way
I would greatly appreciate it. I feel as though I have
run out of options.
