[LAFF] How to remove the homeless?

This may be off-top for the list, but since I'm asking for global input I'll come here quick.  Discount it if it's in error to post it.



Basic:  I go to UW-Parkside, a Wisconsin Campus, aka a for-profit business.  On this campus there is one homeless man who wanders the halls, and have been taking food from the trash cans, and partaking of 'donation' collections that we run on the campus.  I have done some research and followed him around (not to hard, he's everywhere I am for some unlucky reason).  He seems to sleep in the library (where I study most of the day) and frequents the computer lab (which I'm a digital guy with classes and so forth).  anywho... he's in the campus, using the services I pay for, and I've asked what to do about him to the staff.  They say 'There is nothing we can do, since he hasn't done anything wrong."

I pushed the issue, and found out he's been contacted by the police many times to 'move on' and he has!  To other parts of the campus that is.


To cut it short, since I have tons of other useless data, how do I help/(get rid of) this eye sore to the campus?  I don't mind helping him, or just getting him gone.  I'd appreciate helpful information on this topic, as I'm about to approach him personally and attempt to befriend him in attempts of helping.  This will most likely not go well, for those of you who know me.
