Yes, I agree with this advice. Just pick a good place and time,
announce it in several places, such as here and livejournal, and go.
You'll need to do this repeatedly before you get a good group, so be
patient. The Madison coffee didn't take off overnight, it took months
before we got a good, steady group of regulars coming.

Speaking of my group, one of them will be moving back north and when I
showed him your post, we was pretty excited. He's hoping you choose
Wausau, as he'll be up around there.
