Hi Jess
I just sent you 25 on paypal. Don't pay me back. When you get a chance I would love to see your rendition of my character, but do wait until you have some free time.
You may want to consider finding the Salvation Army volunteer in your area. I volunteer in Worth, IL and can really only assist Worth residents or someone stranded, stuck or in trouble in that town. The Salvation Army will assist anyone who meets the criteria once a year with $100.00 of assistance. In special cases, the assistance can go up to $200,00, but we have to call to get an authorization on that. In addition most volunteers buy gift certificates to food stores you can use to get food if you need it. And your local volunteer will know information about other resources for help. For example most areas have a food pantry. Usually it is a church in your area you can get food cheep or free depending on the situation. The food pantry in Worth is located at United Methodist Church at 112 & Depot Ave, and it's only open once a week unless an emergency arises.
If your having trouble finding a rep in your area, call the main number and they will put you in touch with your local rep. The number I have, which is probably for southside chicagoland, but they can redirect you anyway if needed is 773-725-1100. I have a book of all the area service extensions, but it's going on like 6 years old now, and probably none too accurate.
If you have any questions, let me know...
"hugs"
