If it was a genitic issue, i would contact the breeder? you got her from and tell them, they need to know and hopefully get a replacement.

I just lost my 5 month old female lynx kitten Nakina last night due to a congenital pancreas malformation. Her 5 month old cage mate Juneau is screaming at the top of his lungs out of loneliness. He was incredibly bonded to her.
 
I need to find another female kitten as soon as possible. I realize the kitten will likely be around 5-6 months old and may not be socialized. THAT'S OK! 
 
About us: We're a USDA licensed educational facility in Illinois. Also non-profit. We've got 15 years of hand raising C.Lynxes. This is our first kitten loss and it wasn't due to husbandry :-( 
 
PLEASE, pass the word. We need another baby NOW for Juneau.
