[FEL-L] Comments and questions requested

Hi there everyone.
 
Some of you know me, some of you don't. Either way, that's alright. I'm putting together an adjunct to NEOPOA's website to answer commonly asked questions and comments used in people defending the stance to regulate, ban, or otherwise restrict ownership and trade of animals. These could be comments used to assert a certain danger to any specific breed, or species of animal. Questions like "What kind of person owns [insert whatever here]?!?" or other such. Shout out/contribute whatever questions or comments you feel like having answered, or for those of you/us that do frequently answer questions for others, contribute any you wish to. I answer such a diverse variety of questions in any given day I can't really discern what are "Common" ones, or what derogatory comments are frequently heard by others.
 
You can reach me at prometheus_horse at yahoo.com if you do not wish to post your query or comment to the open lists, but if you email me privtely please extract the name of the group from the subject line so I can tell it's a private email, but please leave the remainder of the subject line intact so I know it's not spam.
 
Feel free to forward this request to any group or groups you deem suitable but please leave the body intact and make a note to email the responses to me privately as I am not necessarily a part of that group - the more questions and comments I receive, the more misinformation or half-truths can be dispelled as far as what passes for "common knowledge" by under-educated or uneducated individuals as far as the subject of pet ownership, whether traditional cats and dog or non-traditional pets of any description. The questions can be as specific as you like and I'll gradually work through the list to help build the website. There are no stupid questions, there are no stupid comments, there is only ignorance in some of them posed to us. Stupidity only happens when an individual refuses to accept a reasoned and logical answer because it crushes a bit of their perception of reality.

And for those of you who think "well, someone else is likely to say the same thing", that might be so, but you'll never know if someone else has so now's the time to speak it anyway. No worries, and it only takes a moment of your time. You might be surprised that you're the only one that did say it, after all.
