The next FCF Husbandry Course is Saturday, April 25 and will be hosted by
Panther Ridge Conservation Center.

The course is being held at the Sherbrooke Development Center, 6661 East
Calumet Circle, Lake Worth, Florida.

The class starts at 8:00 am and runs till 5:00 pm.

The registration fee is $95 FCF-members, $130 others.

Airport: West Palm Beach, just 25 minutes away.

This course covers wild feline species, regulatory agencies, facility
design, nutrition, health care, behavior conditioning, handling equipment
and contingency planning.

On Sunday, April 26, students are invited to tour Panther Ridge Conservation
Center, home to cheetah, jaguar, puma, panther, ocelot, serval and caracal
to learn about the center's enclosures, felines, enrichment and husbandry
practices. $15.00 tour fee charged.

The Basic Exotic/Wild Feline Husbandry Course has been recently completely
updated making the course more valuable than ever. The nutrition section
covers new materials on calcium and vitamins and diet designs. Health care
has been updated with new information too.  There are dozens of new photos
of cages, fencing, materials and enrichments in the Facility section. The
feline species section has better photos and better range maps. The student
textbook is now 149 pages chock full of useful information to take home for
future reference.
