Doc doesn't state how he feels about Palin, or where he stands on the issue.
But I do know Doc is a vegetarian. That said, I think this was posted because
if is loaded with AR sentiment. And it is presented with due respect to Doc's
beliefs.

The descriptions of hunting, gutting, skinning and eating are an attempt
to make people disgusted about killing an animal and eating it. Last
time I had to do this, it was a bloody, messy, smelly affair. But the
meat was excellent, and nutritious. It is one of the foods humans are
designed to eat. And whether its a moose or a cow or a chicken,
preparing it to be eaten is just as messy, smelly, ugly etc.

I don't believe for a minute that the moose population is in serious
trouble, but that conditions in some areas are being exaggerated to make
it look like a problem. AR is very good about that. Alaska is still
mostly wild, and I am sure that there are many areas with a moose
population, that, managed properly can be sustainably hunted.

The media is out to get Palin. She stands for everything they are
opposed to. This article is a perfect example.

Oh, BTW, moose is really good eating!
