Yasha (bobcat) is now 6 years old. I'm single again so she can't be
supervised constantly. She started peeing everywhere again, mostly in
my bedroom. Luckily she spares my bed and couch (probably because I
went ape-shat last time she did it there). It's too hot out in the
summer to put her out when I can't be home. I don't really mind
cleaning up after her but I want her to go back to her former goodness.
Anyone have any techniques? I tried putting attractive targets (plastic
and cardboard) in the litter box. This worked for a little while, but
then she went back to the walls and floor. When there was someone home
more of the time it was easy, a "NO!" and a point when she was taking a
squat sent her where you wanted her to go. Now she waits until I'm not
there and has a blast or spray rather.
Otherwise she is still a doll :-) And I'm putting the Hoover mopping
machine a bought through the ultimate endurance test :-) I do get the
benefit of my house smelling like floor cleaner all the time though.
