I'm very sorry to hear of this. I got Max from Sandi and had many e-mailings
to each other on the cats, and have Maximus listed on her website. She was
great and her cats were always in wonderful shape when we got them. She was
always helpful and supportive of our questions and was wonderful to deal
with. I will miss her.

I am very sad to report to you that Saturday afternoon 3/3/07 Sandi Cossette
passed away peacefully after a year long battle with cancer.

Sandi was not only my best friend but she was my mentor in the exotic cat
world. I met Sandi the summer of 1990 when we purchased our first bobcat
kitten. She taught me everything I know about wild cats and a whole lot
more. Over the years Sandi and her husband Jerry have shared their lives
with a huge array of exotic animals. Visiting a large zoo didn't hold a
candle to visiting the Cossette's. Sandi bottle fed hundreds of kittens
from cougars to the smallest domestic kitten. Every kitten or critter that
she placed into a new home left a tear running down her cheek as she bonded
so closely with each and every one of them. The foot prints that this woman
has left in my heart as well as thousands of other people can not be counted
as she touched so many lives. Without fail if you had a problem she'd be
there with hands on help or the best advice possible. She was one in a
million that's for sure.

All but a couple of jungle cats and some domestics have been placed in new
homes but the website that she created is still up if you'd like to see some
of the beautiful cats that she was so very proud to share her life with.

Rest in peace my friend... There must have been some kittens in heaven that
needed tending to because she sure left us here on earth long before we were
ready to let her go.
