I don't see how this is any different than me putting live mice in my
snake's cage, or catching live bugs for my fly traps, pitcher plants and
sundew plants, their food has to be alive and die at some point after
all..
But then again I don't change that value I put on life depending on size
or type, or change my opinion of it dying depending on when, where or
whether or not there is people around to see it..

Seeing a tiger kill its prey -- live, up close and personal -- seems
like it'd be most people's worst nightmares.
But for a Chinese zoo, it's the latest must-see attraction. The visitors
here pay anywhere from $4 to $200 to watch the bloody spectacle, and
some even bring their children along. Call us old-fashioned, but we'd
rather take a family vacation to the amusement park. Not surprisingly,
animal activists are outraged by the attraction.
