[FEL-L] SF tiger attack

Tim & Friends,
    One of Tim's first comments is "who  knows if its really this bad"  I got 
angry yet again.  Finding  out the press has exaggerated is one thing but 
when it happens to you  there is no other feeling of violation.  I don't believe 
anything I  read anymore.  Let me reword that: it may be true, but I don't  
believe it just because I read it.
Why?  I've been misrepresented so many times in the U.S. papers  I would 
actually expect it.  But recently Der Spiegel in Germany  actually PRINTED WORDS I 
NEVER SAID! (not even close) and put quotation  marks around them claiming 
Ms. Johnson said....   Of course  Carol Baskin jumped all over it like she knew 
it as fact.  As far as  I know a complete misquotation like that is illegal.  
But why bother  with a magazine so far away.  The claim to have printed my 
'letter to  the editor" correcting this and demanding an apology, but it is all 
in  German and by the size of the paragraph I can tell its not nearly what I  
said.
The press I believe is our worst enemy - worse than the ARAs because  that is 
where the ARAs get their ammunition from.  Had to  vent...thanks,
