Silly quesiton, but was Chris Orr working at a duty scheduled for him to do at the time he was doing it? If my rusty memory is correct, unless an individual has been "certified" by the facility, and is working at a pre-scheduled task during a time they are pre-scheduled to be there, they are to be considered "the public" and per USDA regulations are not to be allowed direct contact with adult big cats. In other words... no walk-on players allowed. Would be rather curious if she was guilty of violating the very USDA regs she fought to have put in place. Wouldn't be surprising, would just be curious.

Does anyone else find it interesting and strange (and a bit unnerving) that this story just sort of "disappeared" after one day?  If this happened at one of our facilities the ARA's would still be posting things everywhere.
