[FEL-L] FCF Regional representative program

Hello All,

 

My name is John Turner, and I was a member of Felines-l backin 2000 - 2001. I'm back on the list once more, and wanted to let folks knowabout the Feline Conservation Federation's (FCF) http://www.felineconservation..orgnew Field Representative Program. The goal of this program is to supportprivate exotic feline ownership by interacting with legislators and mediapersons. I would like to also invite anyone else to help in this effort, whetherthey are FCF members or not. Just helping to track your state's legislation, writingletters, or making phone calls to your representatives would be a big help. Gettinginvolved in one way or another is crucial to staving off the repeated attempts beingmade to ban exotic feline ownership.

 

For those living in my area, I will have a booth for the FCFat the Unique Animal Expo in the Washington County Fairgrounds, Oregon, onSeptember 29th & 30th, and I would love to meet otherexotic feline enthusiasts. http://www.uniqueanimalexpo.com/ 

 

For those who also may wish to become FCF members, we needstate representatives for many states. Please let me know, and I can put you incontact with your closest representative.
