[FEL-L] insurance question

Laura - I assume you are referring to homeowners insurance.  As soon as we moved to Ft. Lauderdale and the insurance company found out about the cats, we were unable to purchase Homeowners from any company.  The policy I had for many years was called "fire and extended coverage", close to the same thing but no liability coverage of any kind for anything (used to tell people don't trip and fall & try to sue; no insurance<g>).  Unfortunately last year Hartford cancelled all policies in South Florida, but maybe they have coverage in your state.
