[FEL-L] Spotted Hyenas

To all,
    I am looking for the following information for the Spotted Hyena
Crocuta crocuta. This material is needed to obtain a permit to possess
this animal in the State of Nevada. This information must, if possible
be from a citeable scientific source.

Climate information in natural habitat:
    Low and high temperatures
    Number of days with temperature below zero F
    Annual rainfall
    Season of the year with the most precipitation

Common diseases and remedies

Any information about the the survivability of hyenas that have been
inadvertently released into the wild.

Any other pertinent information on the natural history of, or the
captive husbandry of this species.
