[FEL-L] Somewhat OT, and yet not...

Greetings all,
Some may know me, many may not, but I've got a conundrum and perhaps you all can help me answer it....
As some of you likely know, I've been pondering a traveling menagerie show under canvas (think traditional "circus" venue) for a time, and one thing that keeps coming back to me is this simple question.... will people come? What do you all think? The performance would be something akin to the Jarrod Miller/Joan Embree segments you'd see on Letterman, Leno, or Conan O'Brien's late-night talk shows. In truth it'd be somewhat different including some audience participation, but there's really nothing else to compare it to that's widely known. So my questions are thus:
1). Do you think it'd stand a chance in the modern market? Why/why not?
2). Would you be inclined to attend such a show?
3). Apart from the routing logistics and obvious containement issues, do you see any problems with such a program? If so, what do you see them to be?
4). Apart from the PeTA-type quibbles, do you see any potential detractions from such an enterprise?
The initial stage program is theoretically set to feature mostly North American wildlife and predators.... Redfox, Coyotes, Wolves, and Cougar for the predator segment... cottontail rabbit and whitetail deer rounding out the rest, hypothetically that is. The program itself is still under development so there's of course a great variability in what will actually be presented. And for whatever it's worth... no matter which side of the "make good pets" fence you sit, the show will not be including the California caveat "these animals do not make good pets".... cuz many of us know that's a load of hooey. It _will_, however, be trended to indicate that not every kind of animal would make a suitable pet for every kind of human, and to fully understand why an animal may or may not be appropriate for you and your individual situation. This whole menagerie show would also include (complain if you like) photo sessions with appropriate critters, as well as the usual merchandising
and bric-a-brac that accompanies any carnival setting. Outwardly it'd appear to be a small circus, (hypothetically) complete with wagons and menagerie and main show under canvas tops.... though the main show itself would be more presentation than performance-craft. Lastly, this show would be based in the upper midwest... in theory. You may note that this query is in the hypothetical rather than the factual, and that's mostly to avoid leading your answers as well as that there are few thigns set in stone at this point in the realization of this idea. So..... what do you all think? Thanks in advance for your opinions on the matter, questions and off-list contact are always welcome, and hope you have a pleasant day.
