Exotic Feline Refuge Center has been very compassionate with this owner and has agreed to keep her up to date and allow visits. This is an important part of placing these tigers. She has lost her husband, her pets and her home. She is a nice lady with big problems and this is important to her mental health.

Thank you to everyone that is helping. I am sorry I have not had a chance to post.

It is painfully obvious by now that we are not (and will not be) communicating with any of you about Rod’s previously owned animals. Unfortunately, your obsessive and repeated attempts to find some way to get re-involved in these animals lives is not an option. If Rod feels he cannot live without tigers in his life, then he needs to obtain a new license and go out and start over again. We are not in the business of catering to people’s fancies after they have surrendered their animals from previous failed attempts at owning them. You are grown adults and can do whatever you want with your lives, and so if owning tigers and having those kinds of intimate relations with them is still a passion for any of you – then please follow your desires somewhere else and refrain from trying to regain memories from your past through us.!

the place that these two animals are going to is not the same way that Pat Craig is to the people that have left animals at his place are they? what you see above is what mr Craig sent to me as two of my tigers are at his place and all I want to do is find out how they are doing.
  Rod

The Feline Conservation Federation is raising funds to cover the cost of transporting two tigers from Ohio to the Exotic Feline Refuge Center, in Indiana.

The tiger owner is recently widowed, and faces financial, medical and legal problems. She is unable to provide the kind of care these great cats require. Her neighbors are complaining. The community is considering a ban law. There is an urgent need to relocate this pair of nine-year-old tigers and a cougar to a safe home.

Evelyn Shaw, FCF Legislative Director, has been working with the owner and the community officials to address both the welfare of the felines and the concerns of the community.

Carol Bohning, FCF Conservation and Education director, has agreed to provide refuge for the cougar at her Butternut Wildlife Sanctuary.

The Exotic Feline Rescue Center has agreed to provide permanent refuge for the two tigers, providing funds to cover the transport can be raised. The FCF has assured reimbursement to Joe, and is now asking the feline community to help raise the funds to cover transportation costs estimated to reach $2,000.

Donations can be mailed to the FCF treasurer at: 3310 Remington Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46227 and mark it Tiger Transport Fund. This will insure that your donation goes towards transporting these tigers to a safe haven.

Donors who give $25.00 or more will receive a thank you DVD of Cougar Development.

The FCF web site is set up to receive Paypal donations too - on our home page NEWS section we cover the Tiger Rescue Project and a convenient Paypal donation button makes contributing to this cause quick and easy.

Second, you can shop at the Tiger Transport E-Bay fundraiser store. All items listed are donated by FCF members and all funds generated go to pay for the transport of these tigers to the EFRC.

The FCF home page www.thefcf.org NEWS section will be updated with new store item listings and a hyperlink to the e-bay store.

  Thank you for your contribution.
