If you all aren't already aware, the Louisville, KY city council passed a series of ordinance changes that, while not directly outlawing it, will make it financially unwise to breed any dogs within the city limits, and practically outlaws keeping of "dangerous" or "problem" canines of any sort. The yardstick used to justify what is dangerous or problem.... if someone feels intimidated by the animal in any way (even if the animal is on its own property, and this includes simply barking at a passer-by from INSIDE a house) it is deemed a "dangerous" animal, and if anyone is "irritated by" the dog it's a "problem" dog. This is lunacy run amok... nearly 100 pages worth of ordinance. This is why I pass this message on to you all, and please do take action before this passes, not just for the residents of Louisville, but those that have kept up with these types of things have seen this spreading throughout California and larger eastern cities as well. Let's stop it before it takes
 hold in smaller cities in the heartland.

        The mayor of Louisville is due back to work tomorrow....hopefully he 
will have thousands of emails awaiting him, urging that he NOT approve 
the new animal control ordinance. If you haven't done so yet, please

Thanks, hopefully public opinion will stall this new legislation.
