[FEL-L] more on baudy cats

Hello All,
I am happy to let you know that we were able to bring six (6) of the tigers from Savage Kingdom back to Georgia (that is all the state of Georgia would allow).  They now live here at Chestatee Wildlife Preserve and are well adjusted.  It is so funny to watch them,  watch the visitors- I think they think the visitors are on display.
They love the weather here and have made fast friends with our other tigers. They were very healthy and well taken care of when we picked them up in September.
At that time I only saw maybe 8 to 10 other bigs cats in need of a home.  I wish we could have taken them all.
I know they had other people like us that were trying to make room for them at their facilities.  Our six will have a happy life with lots of love and full tummies!

I cry all the time. I talked to everyone I could think of at USDA & Fish & Wildlife. Dr. Gaj (not sure I spelled it correct) head of animal welfare, called Kathy & I thought after he spoke to her no cats would be put to sleep. He told her you could not put a cat to sleep without a reason & she could not sell the pelts. Find out when your friend can pick up 2 tigers. None of the cats deserved to be euthanized. There is a very wonderful gentle cat named Maylesh that I really want to find a home for before Kathy has him killed. He is one of my babies. I am going to call Dale Boyles & Dr. Gaj again & see if they can do anything. USDA no longer inspects Savage Kingdom so no one really knows what is going on. Please ask Jaye if she has any ideas. The cats do not deserve this.

Hi again: Yes, Kathy IS that mean-spirited.  I've known her for many years.  Robert has lost ALL his spirit.  The authorities have "broken" him in several ways.  Mentally, spiritually, emotionally, financially.  Kathy saw the chance to take what Robert has, and she indeed has done just that.  Robert gets drunk on scotch every single night, and his brain is just about pickled.  He still has that case looming over his head about the widow.  I mean, the widow of the man (Vince Lowe) who was killed by a tiger at Robert's place a few years ago.
 
According to my contct, Kathy knows that Lee has located homes.  Kathy doesn't care.  She only sees dollar signs. She has taken possession of Robert's valuable belongings, and now, the tigers are extra baggage.  I can't say enough bad about her, but I'll try.  Before she took over Robert's life, I had no opinion about her, one way or the other.  And even when she started taking Robert's things, I didn't care too much. She has been, more or less, a non-person to me.  But now that she is having those animals put to sleep, simply because they are an inconvenience, something must be done.

Ok. That's all I have for now. Sorry for omitting some names, but I don't want to get anyone into hot water, except for the person (Kathy) who is killing Robert's cats. I'll find out if Robert gave Kathy legal right to do so. Even if he did, according to the statement above by Dr. Gaj with USDA, it's illegal for someone to euthanize their cats without reason.

I'm obtaining Kathy's phone and address now.
