This couldn't any worse news. Karen was a wonderful person, who stood
very strongly for what she believed in. She was instrumental in
helping Phoenix Exotics get stared a number of years back. I still have
videotapes of her powerful presentations there. Most recently, she put
out a CD with the best recordings of big cats I have ever heard. I was
just going to email her and ask if I could use a few clips from it on my
lion website. Now, I will never be able to speak to her again, ever. :-(

My deepest condolences to all the folks at Big Cats of Serenity Springs.
My tears are with yours. At least, I suspect Karen has all sorts of
furry friends with her that will never be separated from her again.
