Hey, enough already - when it's obvious no amount of posting is going to change anyone's mind, drop it for heaven's sake.  I subscribe to 3 feline elist digests - and it's been the same on all 3!  Sheesh.

Heard the latest one about our beloved USDA?  (If you Must complain about something/someone.)   As you may or may not know, in Key West, Fla, one of the attractions is The Ernest Hemingway Home & Museum.  For more than 40 years It has been home to many cats, some say perhaps 50 +/-, many with the 6 toes that some folks call "Hemingway cats".  Well, in Oct. '03 the USDA suddenly decided they are on exhibit and must be "caged, kept under guard, or even removed".   The Museum CEO says they are not on exhibit, they live there, and finally took it to court (no decision yet).  More litigation to follow, I'm sure.  The full article can be found on line, I think.
