The issue and responsibility is first that of the
owner in selecting a vet. For those who oppose
de-clawing, the concern isn't for the success stories,
it's the animals who suffer as a result of poorly 
done operations. How many successful operations are
required to compensate for the unsuccessful ones, and
does the
safety and conveniance of clawless cats outweigh the
suffering for the failures ?
