True, but if we look at it that way, some would say using them in  
entertainment such as: commercials, magic acts, education programs, etc.,  would also be 
considered abuse at the hands of humans. Here again, it boils down  to 
opinion, experiences and individual concepts of how animals should coexist  with 
humans.
